Each Gucci handbag released after 2014 comes with a black label, which not only is a key point of authentication, it also has an important piece of information hidden inside - the year of manufacture. Similar to Chanel, the serial numbers on the black label is sequenced with each matching a year of manufacture.
Imagine a small, black fabric tag stitched inside your Gucci bag, often near a zipper or the top. This tag will have a single, printed QR code. It's important to note that unlike some standard QR codes, Gucci's QR code is encrypted and won't be readable by most standard QR scanner apps.
